StuartCo announces a Grand Opening celebration on Friday October 26, 2012 to recognize the completion of Genesee Apartments & Townhomes and The Shops at Penn & American completed by United Properties. City of Bloomington Mayor Gene Winstead will be speaking at the event.

Genesee Apartments & Townhomes opened in three phases throughout 2012. The 22-unit Townhome building with roof-top deck was completed in June, followed by the 60-unit Plaza building with retail on ground level completed in August, and the 8-story, 152-unit Tower building with amenities including roof-top terrace, fitness center, community room, theater, WiFi lounge, underground heated parking, and outdoor pool was completed in September.

Genesee is one of two new developments this year for StuartCo. The company also opened The View at Long Lake, a 124-unit luxury apartment community in New Brighton. In addition, StuartCo is the leasing and managing agent for 430 Oak Grove, a historic rehab in Loring Park, being completed in December by Kraus Anderson.
